Special Events

A blessed weekly day dedicated to congregational prayer, Qur’an recitation, Dhikr, Dua, and increased remembrance of Allah. Visitors gather at the Darbar in an atmosphere of devotion, brotherhood, and spiritual reflection.

The sacred month of Ramadan is observed with fasting, Salah, Qur’an recitation, Dhikr, Dua, and increased acts of worship. The Darbar becomes a place of spiritual reflection and devotion throughout the blessed month.

The Night of Power is observed with special prayers, Qur’an recitation, Dhikr, Istighfar, and collective Dua, seeking the mercy and blessings of Allah on this blessed night.

Eid-ul-Fitr is marked with Eid prayers, gratitude to Allah, greetings among devotees, hospitality, and prayers for peace, prosperity, and blessings for the Muslim Ummah.

The blessed occasion of Eid-ul-Adha is observed with Eid prayer, remembrance of Allah, sacrifice according to Islamic tradition, and prayers for acceptance, mercy, and blessings.

The sacred day of Ashura is observed with remembrance, Qur’an recitation, Dhikr, Dua, and reflection upon the important events and spiritual lessons associated with Muharram.

A special occasion of remembrance and devotion in connection with the blessed birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, featuring recitation, Naat, Salawat, religious gatherings, and reflection upon his noble character and teachings.

Urs Mubarak of Hazrat Khawaja Sain Ghulam Nabi Chishti Nizami (RA). The annual Urs is a significant spiritual occasion at the Darbar, bringing devotees together for Qur’an recitation, Fatiha, Dhikr, Dua, Naat, and remembrance of the life, teachings, and spiritual legacy of Hazrat Khawaja Sain Ghulam Nabi Chishti Nizami (RA).

Special gatherings may be held according to the traditions and practices of the Chishti Nizami Silsila, bringing devotees together for Dhikr, spiritual reflection, religious teachings, and Dua.

On designated occasions, gatherings may include Qur’an recitation, Khatm, Fatiha, and collective Dua, with prayers for the departed, the living, and the wider Muslim Ummah.

Where traditionally observed and appropriately arranged, spiritual Sama or Qawwali gatherings may form part of special occasions, reflecting the devotional heritage of the Chishti tradition and encouraging remembrance of Allah.

Special religious gatherings may be arranged on important occasions, bringing visitors together for collective Dua, remembrance, spiritual guidance, and prayers for the welfare of the community.

The Darbar may observe other important Islamic and Chishti Nizami occasions throughout the year according to the established local tradition, religious calendar, and Darbar schedule.
